Job summary

Aditya Birla Group in Cement division is seeking a Production In Charge (Officer) to plan, coordinate and ensure timely supply of concrete, aiming at high productivity and customer delight.

The role involves handling KRA such as customer management, planning and budgeting, production execution, and ensuring efficient plant operations with equipment and route planning to meet client timelines.

Responsibilities

• Customer management: interact with customers during execution and collect feedback; resolve on-site pumping, pouring and labour issues.
• Planning & Budgeting: prepare, consolidate and analyze plant plan and budget.
• Product Delivery: deploy manpower at site for pours; optimize route plan for TMs; coordinate pumps, pipelines, and site movement.
• Production Execution: batch material as per ticketing/customer service details; assess equipment backup.

To plan, coordinate and ensure timely supply of concrete thereby achieving high productivity and customer-delight.

The RMC Industry is highly fragmented and very competitive. As a major RMC player we face competition from other organized players and local players which makes superior service delivery along with quality products important for good margins. There is huge growth in infrastructure which opens up opportunities for setting up commercial and dedicated plants. The plant and its resources need to be cost effective with focus on maximizing capacity utilization. This makes it imperative for each plant to be efficient and profitable. The plant employees need to be focused and deliver high performance in each of their KRAs and accountabilities.

KRA1 Customer Management Interact with customers during the execution and gather the feedback
Resolve problems on site pertaining to pumping, pouring and labour handling and escape non-resolvable issues

KRA2 Planning & Budgeting Prepare, consolidate and analyze Plant plan and budget

KRA3 Product Delivery Deploy manpower at site for smooth execution of pours
Optimize the route plan for TMs for their safe and timely passage
Perform site appraisal prior to pour with respect to determining the shortest motor able route, condition of site, matching of time of pour with client, measurement if required and QC infrastructure of client
Plan the installation of Pumps and pipelines, movement of TMs and movement of Application engineers to the concreting site
Confirm time and date to the customer well in advance for Pumping

KRA4 Production Execution Batch material as per the details received from Ticketing/Customer Services Cell
Assess the available equipment back-up for execution of order
