Job summary

Aditya Birla Group is seeking a Production In Charge for its cement/RMC operations in Maharashtra. The role focuses on planning resources, achieving high productivity, and ensuring safety and statutory compliance across plants.

The incumbent will oversee capacity utilization, environmental initiatives, and continuous improvements to deliver reliable, quality service and profitability in a competitive market.

Qualifications

• Experience in cement/RMC production or similar plants.
• Strong planning and resource management skills.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental norms.

Responsibilities

• Resolve day-to-day customer grievances related to cracks, workability, slump, pumping issues, and cube failures; take corrective actions.
• Sustainability: address environmental grievances from neighbouring communities and ensure compliance.
• Track and control water usage, energy usage, and CO2 emissions at plant.
• Ensure adherence to government environmental norms at plant.
• Monitor and improve plant efficiency to maximize capacity utilization.

Job Purpose

To plan and organize the resources for high productivity, optimum resource utilization with operational excellence including safety and statutory compliances.

The RMC Industry is highly fragmented and very competitive. As a major RMC player we face competition from other organized players and local players which makes superior service delivery along with quality products important for good margins. There is huge growth in infrastructure which opens up opportunities for setting up commercial and dedicated plants. The plant and its resources need to be cost effective with focus on maximizing capacity utilization. This makes it imperative for each plant to be efficient and profitable. The plant employees need to be focused and deliver high performance in each of their KRAs and accountabilities.

KRA1 Customer Feedback Resolve day to day customer grievances related to cracks, workability, slump control, pumping issues cube failures etc. and take corrective and preventive actions based on site feedback

• Sustainability Address any environment pollution related grievances from the neighbouring communities adjacent to the plants
• Ensure adherence of environmental or anti-pollution norms set up by the government at plant
• Track and control the water usage, energy usage, and CO2 emission or emission of dust/particulate matter and other pollutants/wastes at plant
