Job summary

UltraTech Cement is seeking professionals to manage KRAs at our cement plants, focusing on customer feedback, product quality, and on-time deliveries. The role emphasizes sustainability, safety, and adherence to regulatory norms to drive profitability and efficiency.

The incumbent will coordinate with plant teams to address issues, optimize resource use, and ensure continuous improvement in performance and environmental compliance across operations.

Responsibilities

• Resolve day-to-day customer grievances related to cracks, workability, slump control, pumping issues and cube failures; take corrective actions based on site feedback.
• Address environmental or anti-pollution grievances from neighbouring communities adjacent to the plants; ensure adherence to government norms at plant.
• Track and control water usage, energy usage, and emissions to maintain sustainable plant operations.

The RMC Industry is highly fragmented and very competitive. As a major RMC player we face competition from other organized players and local players which makes superior service delivery along with quality products important for good margins. There is huge growth in infrastructure which opens up opportunities for setting up commercial and dedicated plants. The plant and its resources need to be cost effective with focus on maximizing capacity utilization. This makes it imperative for each plant to be efficient and profitable. The plant employees need to be focused and deliver high performance in each of their KRAs and accountabilities.

KRA1 Customer Feedback

• Resolve day to day customer grievances related to cracks, workability, slump control, pumping issues cube failures etc. and take corrective and preventive actions based on site feedback

• Ensure adherence of environmental or anti-pollution norms set up by the government at plant
• Track and control the water usage, energy usage, and CO2 emission or emission of dust/particulate matter and other pollutants/wastes at plant
