Qualifications

• Graduate with 18+ years of experience in production, plant operations and manufacturing management.
• Proven expertise in production planning, manpower handling, and shop-floor management.
• Experience in ISO/audit readiness, documentation and training of employees.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to coordinate across Production, Quality, Maintenance and Stores.
• Proficient in MS Excel and production reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute production to meet daily and monthly targets.
• Oversee plant operations, manpower allocation, and shift planning.
• Monitor productivity, quality, material usage, wastage and machine performance.
• Coordinate Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores and other departments.
• Lead ISO and customer audits and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain production records, documents, and process records.
• Develop and implement SOPs, work instructions, and training programs.
• Monitor team performance and take timely corrective actions.
• Ensure safety, discipline, process compliance and continuous improvement.
• Maintain robust production data management and reporting systems.

A hands-on, result-oriented Production Head capable of managing complete plant operations, improving productivity, developing manpower, maintaining audit compliance, and achieving production targets efficiently.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage overall production planning, scheduling, and execution to achieve daily and monthly production targets.
• Handle plant operations, manpower allocation, shift planning, and shop-floor management.
• Monitor productivity, quality, material utilization, wastage, and machine performance.
• Ensure smooth coordination between Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and other departments.
• Lead ISO audits, customer audits, compliance requirements, and corrective action implementation.
• Maintain production reports, process records, operational documents, and other required documentation.
• Develop and implement SOPs, work instructions, training programs, and employee skill development initiatives.
• Monitor team performance, identify operational issues, and take timely corrective decisions.
• Ensure discipline, safety, process compliance, and continuous improvement across production activities.
• Maintain good computer-based reporting and production data management systems.

Candidate Requirements

• Any Graduate with a minimum of 18 years of experience in Production, Plant Operations, and Manufacturing Management.
• Strong expertise in production planning, manpower handling, and shop-floor management.
• Practical experience in ISO audits, customer audits, documentation, and employee training.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, and coordination skills.
• Target-oriented approach with the ability to manage deadlines and operational challenges.
• Good computer proficiency, particularly MS Excel, email, reporting, and production-related systems.
• Candidates from an Electrical or Mechanical background will be given preference.
