Job summary

ITT Inc.-English is seeking a Skilled Continuous Improvement Leader with 20+ years in rotating and industrial product ranges. The Production Manager will oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations, including planning, machining, assembly, testing, and quality compliance to achieve delivery and cost targets.

Strong leadership, process improvement and team mentorship are essential, along with experience in Kaizen, 5S and LEAN initiatives.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in pump/rotating equipment or heavy engineering industries.
• Proven ability to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations and drive cost efficiency.
• Strong knowledge of TQM, Lean and Six Sigma (preferred).
• Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and monitor all production activities to meet schedules, cost and quality targets.
• Enforce plant safety regulations and proper hazardous material handling.
• Plan and execute daily/monthly production schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
• Monitor shop utilization and manpower to manage bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for in-process and final inspections.
• Drive Kaizens, 5S and LEAN initiatives to reduce waste and cycle times.
• Utilize ERP tools for material tracking and inventory management.
• Expedite operations and adjust schedules to meet changing conditions.
• Prepare production reports and staffing plans to support operations.
• Train and mentor shop supervisors and workers.

Position Summary

We are looking for Skilled Continuous Improvement Leader with 20+ years of professional experience in rotating and industrial product range industries.

Production Manager will lead the end-to-end Manufacturing operations and will manage planning, machining, assembly, testing and Quality compliance workflows to ensure equipment’s meets stringent quality requirements, customer delivery expectations, and optimal manufacturing cost. Proven results in exceeding targets while improving efficiency and reducing costs. Demonstrated skills in creating, leading, and executing process improvements, Set-up reduction. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication & leadership skills, ability to supervise, mentor others and a good team player.

Essential Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and monitor all production activities within an assigned area, unit, single plant or multiple plants (or factory, branch, or other facility) to maximize the use of the organization’s resources and meet established production specifications and schedules; volume, cost, and wastage targets; quality standards and/or achieve the short and medium-term financial and operating objectives set by the overall corporate business plan.
• Enforce Plant safety regulations, hazardous material handling protocols and operational safety equipment’s.
• Plan and execute daily / Monthly production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and project deadlines.
• Monitor shop utilization, efficiency and manpower allocation to manage bottlenecks.
• Responsible for activities such as maintenance, manufacturing and Testing.
• Coordinate closely with QA/QC dept for In-process stage inspections and final inspections.
• Plans and manages inventory to meet manufacturing requirements. Plans and prepares manufacturing production (and/or repair) schedules and departmental workflows to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
• Drive Kaizens, 5S and LEAN manufacturing initiatives to reduce scrap, rework and cycle times.
• Utilize ERP tools effectively for material tracking, shop floor activities and inventory management.
• Expedite operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. Analyzes plant capacity and production requisitions data to determine manufacturing processes and required resources.
• Prepares production reports and reviews documents, such as production schedules, staffing tables, and specifications, to obtain information such as materials, priorities, and personnel requirements. May also create kits of parts for use in manufacturing process.

Position Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / production engineering

Experience: Min 20 years of working experience in Pump / rotating equipment’s or large-scale Heavy Engineering & manufacturing industry.
