• 15–20+ years in manufacturing operations.
• Minimum 8 years in a senior production leadership role.
• Experience in Kitchenware, Cookware, Pressure Cooker, Stainless Steel Utensils, Houseware, Consumer Durables, Metal Processing, or Engineering Manufacturing.
• Experience managing large production teams in high-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead complete manufacturing operations across all production lines.
• Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly production targets are achieved.
• Monitor production efficiency, machine utilization, and manpower productivity.
• Optimize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Ensure smooth production flow with minimum downtime.
• Improve throughput while maintaining product quality.
• Coordinate with PPC, Stores, Maintenance, Quality, R&D, and Dispatch teams.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

• Coordinate with PPC to prepare production schedules.

• Balance capacity utilization across production lines.
• Improve on-time delivery performance.

4. Quality & Process Control

• Ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the production process.
• Minimize rework, rejection, and customer complaints.
• Collaborate with the Quality team to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Drive First Pass Yield (FPY) improvements.
• Maintain process discipline and quality compliance.

5. Cost Optimization

• Identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.
• Improve material yield and reduce scrap generation.
• Optimize manpower deployment.
• Control manufacturing overheads.
• Drive productivity improvement projects.

6. Plant Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and statutory regulations.
• Promote a zero-accident safety culture.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and machine safety protocols.
• Maintain compliance with ISO and environmental standards.

7. Maintenance Coordination

• Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
• Ensure minimum machine breakdowns.
• Improve equipment reliability and availability.
• Support automation and technology upgrades.

8. Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor production managers, engineers, supervisors, and operators.
• Develop team capabilities through training and coaching.
• Define KRAs and KPIs for the production team.
• Foster a culture of accountability, discipline, and continuous improvement.
