Responsibilities

• Lead overall factory operations and achieve production targets.
• Convert Sales Orders/OTNs into executable production plans.

• Ensure manufacturing adheres to drawings, BOMs, specs and standards.
• Implement QAP/ITP, SOPs, Stage-Gate Sign-Off and traceability.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve constraints.
• Control material consumption, scrap, rework and downtime.
• Strengthen preventive maintenance and reduce downtime.
• Close NCRs, CAPA and quality issues promptly.
• Establish and review KRAs/KPIs and MIS dashboards.

Role & responsibilities

CMAC India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced, result-oriented and shop-floor-driven Factory Head / Plant Head to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations. The role will be accountable for Production, Planning, Productivity, Quality, Maintenance, Safety, Cost Control, Manpower Development and On-Time Delivery, while strengthening a culture of quality, accountability, traceability and continuous improvement.

Preferred candidate profile

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall factory operations and achieve monthly/annual production, dispatch and business targets.
• Convert Sales Orders/OTNs into executable production plans and drive on-time delivery.
• Improve production efficiency, machine utilization, manpower productivity and capacity utilization.
• Ensure manufacturing strictly follows approved drawings, BOMs, specifications, process sheets and applicable standards.
• Drive implementation of QAP/ITP, SOPs, Stage-Gate Sign-Off, inspection controls and end-to-end material/product traceability.
• Coordinate Design, Planning, Purchase, Quality, Stores, Maintenance, Electrical, Dispatch and Service for timely resolution of constraints.
• Control material consumption and reduce scrap, rework, rejection and avoidable production losses.
• Strengthen preventive maintenance and minimize equipment breakdown and production downtime.
• Ensure timely closure of NCRs, CAPA, customer complaints and production-related quality issues.
• Establish and monitor factory KRAs/KPIs, MIS dashboards, Plan vs Actual performance and action-oriented review mechanisms.
• Ensure ISO 9001:2015 QMS, statutory, safety and environmental compliance applicable to factory operations.
• Develop supervisors, engineers and workmen through training, skill development, accountability and performance monitoring.
• Promote 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis and continual improvement across factory operations.

Candidate Profile

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.

Experience: Preferably 15+ years in manufacturing, including substantial experience in a senior factory/plant leadership role.

• Preferred background: Heavy Engineering, Construction Equipment, Tower Cranes, Passenger/Material Hoists, Material Handling Equipment, Structural Fabrication, Capital Equipment or similar engineering manufacturing.
