Job summary

JobItUs is seeking an experienced production supervisor for electrical and automation control panel manufacturing. You will oversee daily production activities, ensure quality and timely delivery, and manage coordination with design, estimation, purchasing, stores and QA teams.

Role requires 3-5 years in panel manufacturing and strong ability to read electrical drawings, SLDs and BOMs, with hands-on MCC/PCC/APFC/VFD/PLC panel experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation.
• 3-5 years of experience in Electrical Panel Manufacturing / Control Panel / Switchgear / Automation industry.
• Hands-on experience with MCC, PCC, APFC, VFD, PLC/Automation panels will be preferred.
• Good knowledge of electrical components, panel assembly, wiring and testing.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, SLDs and BOMs.
• Good team handling and production coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor daily production activities for MCC, PCC, APFC, VFD, Soft Starter, HT/LT and Automation Panels.
• Supervise panel assembly, wiring, busbar work, component mounting and testing.
• Read GA drawings, SLDs, wiring diagrams and BOMs.
• Coordinate with Design, Estimation, Purchase, Stores and Quality teams for smooth production.
• Ensure availability of materials/components as per production requirements.
• Monitor production output, manpower utilization and delivery schedules.
• Identify production issues, rework and quality problems and take corrective actions.
• Ensure proper wiring, component installation and panel assembly as per drawings and specifications.
• Maintain production records, reports and documentation.
• Follow safety, quality and production standards.
