Job summary

NXTEK Yantra Pvt Ltd. is seeking a Production Engineer with hands-on fabrication experience in static equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, reactors and columns. The role focuses on planning and monitoring production schedules while ensuring adherence to quality standards and client specifications.

Ideal candidates will plan resources, coordinate with design, purchase and stores teams, and generate regular production reports to drive on-time delivery and productivity improvements.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–6 years of experience, minimum 1 year in fabrication.
• Experience in fabrication of static equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, reactors).
• Strong fabrication, welding, machining and assembly knowledge.
• Proficient in MS Excel, ERP/MRP systems and basic AutoCAD reading.
• Good coordination, communication, time management and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed fabrication schedules for static equipment projects.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Production Engineer with strong hands-on experience in the fabrication of static equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, reactors, columns, and other process equipment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and monitoring production schedules while ensuring strict adherence to quality standards, codes, and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning & Control (PPC):

• Develop and execute detailed fabrication schedules for static equipment projects.


• Plan resources manpower, material, and machinery to achieve on-time delivery.


• Monitor day-to-day production progress and identify potential bottlenecks.


• Coordinate with design, purchase, and stores teams to ensure material availability.


• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management.


• Optimize workflow, reduce idle time, and improve shop floor productivity.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.


• Experience: 1– 6 years (minimum 1 years in fabrication industry).


• Industry Background: Must be from fabrication of static equipment (Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Reactors, Skids, etc.).


• Technical Expertise:


• Strong understanding of fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly processes.


• Familiar with material specifications and welding standards.


• Experienced in preparing and maintaining fabrication schedules and inspection documentation.


• Software Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, ERP/MRP systems, and basic AutoCAD reading.


• Soft Skills: Good coordination, communication, time management, and analytical abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with vacuum or process equipment fabrication will be an added advantage.


• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 QMS requirements and documentation.
