Job summary

Uno Minda Limited in Bengaluru invites applications for an Engineer - Production Assembly. The candidate should hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Toyota Technical Training (TTT) with about 6 years of experience in assembly operations.

Key duties include manpower allocation, cross-team communication, shift coordination, and ensuring health, safety, and 2S standards on the shop floor. Willingness to work in shifts and familiarity with TPS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Toyota Training (TTT) required.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in production assembly environment.
• Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to Japanese manufacturing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage manpower allocation within the group.
• Coordinate communication between associates, team leaders, and shifts.
• Ensure health and safety rules are followed on the shop floor.
• Perform daily machine inspections and verify part quality.
• Maintain 2S condition and inventory for consumables.
• Set and monitor Kanban in planning posts and track progress.
• Record attendance and manage overtime as per shift schedules.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Toyota Technical training (TTT) , 6 years Experience

Responsibility

• Man allocation in the group
• Communication between associate and Team leader
• Communication between shifts in the group
• Understand the health condition of associates in the group
• Maintain & Ensure the shopfloor rules are followed in the group Instruct the safety rules to associates in the group
• Confirm the daily inspection of machines in the group
• Confirm the quality of First/Last parts in the group
• Change point management n the group
• Defect updation in the inprocess defect chart
• Support abnormal handler in the group
• Set the kanban in the planning post
• Check the progress of production kanban
• verification of Team efficiency/ Inline productivity
• Confirmation of standardized work
• Record the Attendance
• Overtime management
• Consumable stock management
• Ensure 2S condition in the group

• 1 Good in Microsoft applications.
