Job Title: Assistant Engineer, Production – Knowledge in Motor Manufacturing

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in production engineering, with a focus on motor manufacturing or similar industries.
• knowledge of machine shop operations, including milling, turning, and grinding processes.
• Strong understanding of motor assembly techniques and production line optimization principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for achieving OTD, daily, weekly & monthly targets as per plan
• Knowledge in Motor assembly process & Machining process
• Supervisory skills to manage assembly shop & machine shop
• Allocation of work to workmen based on the skills and requirements
• Knowledge in SAP in PP module & MM module..
• Monitoring the SAP stock w.r.t cycle count generation in alternative days.
• Planning the production orders and closing in SAP as per daily plan.
• Planning the materials for production & allocating the man power & utilizing them.
• Monitoring deviation in process & validating through CFT teams.
• Maintaining 5s in shop floor and preparing & displaying One point lesson in the shop floor,
• Identifying root cause analysis for the quality issues in shop floor and providing corrective action
• Managing and ensuring the materials are assembled as per BOM data sheet.
• Customer complaints reviewed and submitting the 8D format.
• Initiating multiskilling in shop floor to avoid dependence of employees.
