Job summary

Kirloskar Brothers Limited in Sangli district is seeking a meticulous shop-floor operator to perform assembly, packing and machining tasks following SOPs and work instructions. You will use tooling, gauges and fixtures correctly.

The role requires meeting daily production targets while upholding quality, following safety rules and 5S practices, and participating in in-process quality checks, defect identification and traceability documentation across multitstation assembly lines.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of assembly, packing and machining process.
• Ability to understand SOP / work instruction/ drawing
• Knowledge of quality checks and defect identification
• Teamwork and discipline.
• Basic problem solving skill.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly/packing/machining operation as per the SOP and work instruction.
• Use tooling, gauges and fixtures correctly.
• Ensure correct components and material are used during the operation.
• Conduct in-process quality check and report abnormalities to line supervisor.
• Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Follow safety rules, PPE requirements and 5s’ practices.
• Identify and report defect, shortages, and equipment issues timely to supervisor.
• Support TPM, Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain production records and traceability documents as per SOP.
• Need to work on different work stations of Assembly line/machines (multiskilling).
