Job summary

Talent Corner Hr Services in Talegaon Dabhade, Maharashtra, seeks a production planning professional to coordinate and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production activities, ensuring on-time order completion and optimal use of manpower, machines, and materials.

You will prepare daily production plans, issue work orders in SAP, manage BOMs, track progress, and lead lean initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency. Knowledge of SAP modules and quality standards is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience in packaging / printing industry preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP production modules.
• Knowledge of BRC, Halal, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily production plan based on orders and capacity (SAP).
• Issue and release of work orders to production supervisors; create new item codes for items.
• Prepare and maintain BOMs for finished goods.
• Monitor order progress and adjust the plan as needed; enter planned orders.
• Track order status in SAP and close completed production orders.
• Check availability of materials (paper reels, glue & packing material).
• Prepare weekly production schedule considering sales forecast and raw material arrival.
• Analyse machine utilization and manpower allocation; coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Production teams.
• Coordinate with Purchase for bulk order planning; participate in monthly stock verification with Stores.

Role & responsibilities

Purpose of the position is to ensure proper planning, coordinating, and monitoring production activities to ensure timely completion of customer orders. The role ensures optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials while maintaining production efficiency, reducing downtime,

A. Daily Task

• . 1. Prepare daily production plan based on order and Capacity SAP
• 2. Issue and release of work orders to production supervisors. SAP 3 3. Create new item codes for New Paper cup /Paper sheet size.
• 4 Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) for all finished goods
• 5. Monitor order-wise progress and adjust the plan as needed. . 6. 6. Enter planned orders,
• 7. Track order status in SAP & close completed production orders.
• 8. Check availability of all materials (Paper Reels, Glue & Packing Material.

B. Weekly Task

• 1. Prepare weekly production schedule, considering sales forecast and raw material arrival.
• 4. To analyse machine utilization and manpower allocation.
• 3. To check stock levels of raw material and finished goods with the purchase and stores team
• 4. Conduct coordination meeting with Sales, Procurement, Production teams

C. Monthly Task

• 1. Coordinate with Purchase for bulk order planning of reels, Glue and consumables item
• 2. Participate in monthly stock verification with Stores.

Strategic / Improvement Projects

• 1.To implement lean manufacturing practices to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• 2 Lead initiatives to reduce raw material waste, rejection, and misprints.
• 3. Support automation initiatives in printing, punching, and cup forming.
• 4. Improve coordination workflows between Sales, Production, and Stores.
• 5. Implement Lean Manufacturing practices

Preferred candidate profile

Skills & Qualifications:

• 1. Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
• 2. Experience in packaging / printing industry preferred.
• 3. Knowledge of SAP production modules.
• 4. Knowledge of BRC, Halal, and quality standards.
