Serosoft Solutions Pvt Ltd is seeking a dynamic Product Specialist (Trainer) to lead the full training lifecycle for new hires in a fast-paced, product-based environment.

You will onboard and train engineering, product, and operations teams, update materials with evolving features, and produce high-quality training videos for our LMS to enable scalable, remote learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, Computer Science, Communications, or related field.
• 3 to 8 years of proven experience as a Trainer, Technical Trainer, or L&D Specialist.
• Experience in a product-based technology company or SaaS environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and technical/functional training for new hires to align with product delivery standards.
• Regularly update training manuals, guides, slides, and documentation with product updates.
• Design, record, and edit self-paced training videos for the LMS to support remote learning.
• Create post-training quizzes and tests, evaluate results, and identify improvement areas.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and L&D stakeholders to close capability gaps.

Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and tech-savvy Product Specialist (Trainer) to join our Learning & Development team in a fast-paced product-based environment. In this role, you will be instrumental in onboarding new engineering, product, and operational talent, ensuring they ramp up efficiently and align with our engineering and product delivery standards. You will own the end-to-end training lifecycle for new hires, continuously update learning materials to match our evolving product features, produce high-quality training videos, and manage rigorous knowledge assessments. Key Responsibilities

• New Hire Onboarding & Training: Lead comprehensive onboarding and technical/functional training programs for all incoming new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into our product ecosystem and company culture.
• Content & Curriculum Maintenance: Regularly update and refine training manuals, guides, slide decks, and documentation to keep pace with continuous product updates, deployments, and shifting business processes.
• Training Video Creation: Design, record, and edit engaging self-paced training videos, tutorials, and screencasts for our internal Learning Management System (LMS) to support asynchronous and remote learning.
• Assessments & Evaluation: Design, execute, and evaluate post-training quizzes, coding/practical tests, and feedback surveys to measure learning retention, track new hire progression, and identify areas for improvement.
• Stakeholder & Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Assistant Manager - L&D, engineering leads, and product managers to understand capability gaps and align training modules with product roadmaps.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, Communications, or a related field.
• 3 to 8 years of proven experience as a Trainer, Technical Trainer, or L&D Specialist.
• Experience within a product-based technology company or SaaS environment is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in video creation and editing tools.
• Familiarity with LMS platforms and digital assessment tools.
• Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to simplify complex product features for diverse audiences.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain training content, curriculum, manuals, guides, slide decks, and documentation.
• Ability to design and evaluate quizzes, coding/practical tests, and feedback surveys.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with engineering, product, and L&D stakeholders.
• Understanding of adult learning principles and digital learning practices.
