Job description

A product subject matter expert to define technical direction and align architectural integrity with stakeholder goals.

As a Product Specialist, you will serve as the primary technical authority on product functionality, providing strategic direction to ensure architectural integrity and alignment with business objectives. You will guide the team through technical standards, design reviews, and complex problem-solving while supporting stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction and ensure architectural integrity across systems and solutions
• Define technical standards and lead code and design reviews
• Resolve technical blockers and support team upskilling
• Act as the primary authority on product functionality, guiding best practices for system usage and process optimization
• Execute detailed product setups and configurations tailored to program requirements
• Work closely with stakeholders to capture business requirements and translate them into clear, actionable technical specifications
• Support the QA process through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and verify technical solutions align with functional design
• Provide Level 3 (L3) support for product-related issues, investigating root causes and collaborating on complex resolutions
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, functional workflows, and feature update logs
• Assist in Proof of Concept (POC) testing for new tools and contribute to development of training materials for end-users

Requirements

• Mid-level experience as a Product Specialist, Technical Lead, or similar role
• Strong technical foundation with ability to define standards and lead technical reviews
• Excellent stakeholder communication and requirement translation skills
• Experience with product configuration, system setup, and UAT processes
• Ability to investigate root causes and provide L3-level technical support
• Strong documentation and knowledge management practices
