Job summary

Accion Labs is seeking a Product Owner for our e-commerce practice to bridge business stakeholders and the development team, articulating requirements and driving value-based outcomes.

You will collaborate with US-based stakeholders, translate requirements into user stories, manage the backlog, and facilitate Agile ceremonies with cross-functional teams including UX, QA, and engineering.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong experience in e-commerce domain (B2C/B2B preferred).
• Proven expertise in requirement gathering, stakeholder communication, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong ability to write clear and detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, etc.
• Solid understanding of Scrum/Kanban frameworks.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, UX, marketing).
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).

Responsibilities

• Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring alignment between business goals and development outputs.
• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is refined, prioritized, and aligned with roadmap objectives.
• Participate in product roadmap planning, release planning, and prioritization discussions.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Work closely with UX/UI designers, developers, and QA teams to ensure high-quality product delivery.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and incorporate feedback into product improvements.
• Monitor e-commerce trends, customer behavior, and competitor offerings to identify innovation opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement in product processes and delivery efficiency.

Job Title: Product Owner E-commerce

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to join our team and collaborate with strong domain expertise in e-commerce. The ideal candidate will act as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring successful product delivery by articulating clear business requirements and driving value-based outcomes. This role requires strong stakeholder management, deep understanding of Agile practices, and the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable product features. The position requires collaboration with US-based stakeholders and flexibility to work during India–US overlapping hours, including late evenings when required.
