Job description

Product Marketing Manager, Growth & User Acquisition
Provue | Mumbai (on-site) | 1-4 years | Full-time

Please read first: this role is for marketers who have worked on growth or user acquisition for a B2C consumer app. If your experience is mainly B2B, agency lead generation, real estate or D2C websites, this role will not be a fit.

About Provue
Provue is an interactive AI platform and mobile app that lets users chat with, call, or generate content using over 50 digital personas, expert voices, and AI companions.

The role

You help decide how Provue acquires and activates new users, and you own making that plan happen. You will build the acquisition plan with the founders, track every campaign against its targets, improve how new users are onboarded, and keep the acquisition, creative and product teams moving on one plan. It is an early-career role with real ownership: you will learn fast and be measured on results.

What you will do
Acquisition strategy
  • Build the monthly user acquisition plan with leadership: channels, budget split, and CPI, CAC and retention targets.
  • Research audiences, competitors and personas, and turn them into positioning and messaging that converts.
  • Test new channels alongside Meta and Google: creators and influencers, referral, and app store optimisation.
New user onboarding and activation
  • Map the journey from ad to install to first paid session, and find where users drop off.
  • Work with product to improve the store listing, first-session experience and onboarding messages. Set up the experiments and report the results.
Campaign tracking
  • Track campaign performance daily and weekly: CPI, CAC, D1 and D7 retention, and ROAS.
  • Flag what is working and what is not, and recommend where budget should move.
  • Send a weekly progress report to leadership: what moved, why, and what is next.
Team coordination
  • Keep the acquisition, creative, product and data teams, and any agencies, aligned on one plan with clear owners and dates.
  • Turn performance insights into creative briefs: which hooks, personas and formats to test next.
Must have
  • 1-2 years in marketing at a B2C consumer brand, with hands-on exposure to a consumer app's growth or user acquisition.
  • Familiarity with Meta and Google app campaigns and the metrics behind them (CPI, CAC, retention, ROAS).
  • Comfort with numbers: you can build a funnel in a spreadsheet and explain why a metric moved.
  • Clear writing, and the confidence to follow up with people across teams.
Good to have
  • Exposure to an attribution tool (AppsFlyer, Adjust or Branch) or product analytics (Mixpanel, CleverTap, Firebase).
  • Interest in astrology, spirituality, content, audio, gaming or subscription apps.
  • Experience with regional-language or Tier 2 and Tier 3 audiences.
