Job summary

Ujjivan Small Finance Bank in Bengaluru seeks an experienced product management professional to own secured and unsecured lending products across their lifecycle. You will design, approve, rollout and review performance, and collaborate with Credit, Risk, Technology and Operations teams.

MBA or relevant postgraduate preferred; 5-9 years of experience in product management, retail lending, microbanking, credit or portfolio management; experience with secured loan products is a plus; strong grasp

Responsibilities

• Manage secured and unsecured loan products lifecycle from design to performance review.
• Develop new products and enhance features, pricing, eligibility, processes and customer journeys.
• Support evaluation and development of secured lending propositions.
• Analyse growth, portfolio quality, souring trends, customer segments and market developments.
• Prepare product policies, BRD and management presentations.
• Coordinate with Business, Credit and Risk teams on propositions and underwriting parameters.
• Partner with Tech and Operations for system enhancements and product implementation.
• Develop product dashboards and provide actionable insights to management.
• Prepare product communications, FAQs and training inputs for branches and field teams.
• Gather feedback and drive product/process improvements.
• Ensure adherence to governance and regulatory requirements.

• Manage Secured and Unsecured Individual Loans products throughout their life cycle, from design and approval to rollout and performance review.
• Develop new products and enhance existing product features, pricing, eligibility criteria, processes and customer journeys.
• Support the evaluation and development of potential secured lending propositions.
• Analyse business growth, portfolio quality, souring trends, customer segments and market developments.
• Prepare and maintain Product policies, business requirements, process documents and management presentations.
• Coordinate with Business, Credit and Risk teams on product propositions, underwriting parameters and policy changes.
• Partner with Technology and Operations teams for system enhancements, user acceptance testing and product implementation.
• Develop product dashboards and provide actionable business and portfolio insights to management.
• Prepare product communication, FAQs and training inputs for branches and field teams.
• Gather customer and field feedback, identify recurring pain points and drive product, process or system improvements.
• Ensure adherence to internal governance, applicable regulatory requirements and customer-protection standards.

Educational Qualification:

• An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification will be preferred

Experience :

• 5-9 Yrs. Relevant experience in product management, retail lending, Microbanking, credit, business or portfolio management.
• Experience working with secured loan products will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of the lending life cycle, credit processes, product pricing and portfolio analytics.
