Job summary

YES BANK in Mumbai invites a senior professional to anchor product initiatives, drive compliance frameworks, and lead cross-functional teams across operations, legal, compliance, marketing, and sales. Responsibilities

• Anchor the various product initiatives along with team.
• Identify the new / focus segment for CMS product / Business.
• Training and education of the sales team on the product
• Drive the sales by reviewing meeting clients along with sales team etc.
• Interaction across business segment, creating strategies as per the target customer profiling.
• Identify the core focus segment, create or enhance product and drive.
• Driving along with Operations, Legal, Compliance, Marketing and Sales team
• Ensure all products are compliant to regulatory and compliance guidelines.
• Keep updated about new guidelines
• Regulatory Compliance: Liaise with regulatory bodies such as RBI, SEBI, RERA Authorities, etc. Maintaining cordial relationship and ensure compliance of all issued circular / guidelines.
• Anchor and manage all external and internal audits / compliances such as internal audit inspection, regulatory audit etc. Manage audits, inspections, and filings with regulatory authorities as required.
• Engagement with internal stake holders i.e. operations, compliance, legal etc. and taking along with them. Ensure all the operations and process are aligned with the product.
• Process Improvement: Co-ordinate across operations, compliance, and technology to ensure that agenda for product development is delivered in line with the overall strategy
• Risk Framework Implementation: Implement a robust risk management framework for operations, ensuring adequate checks, controls, and safeguards to protect against market, credit, and operational risks.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify risks in operations and take proactive steps to mitigate identified risks. Work closely with risk, compliance, and legal teams to ensure effective risk controls are in place for all operational activities.
• Escalation Procedures: Establish clear escalation processes for risk events and ensure timely reporting of any operational lapses, including root cause analysis and corrective action plans
• Collaboration: Lead a cross-functional team, driving collaboration among operations, IT, legal, and compliance departments. Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning. Maintain relationships with regulator / quasi regulators such as SEBI / Stock exchanges etc.
• Team development: Invest time with the team, develop them for next roles. He should be seen as source of knowledge and experience. Team should look up for his guidance and as a role model.
• Performance Management: Set clear performance objectives for the team and monitor their progress against key performance indicators (KPIs). Provide regular feedback, identify training needs, and develop plans for individual growth.
• Stakeholder Communication: Ensure consistent and transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership. Regularly update progress, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Self-Management & Leadership: Demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight. Take accountability for key deliverables while fostering a culture of collaboration and mutual respect.
• Product Notes: Ensure all product notes and underlines process are dully documented and approved in respective committees. No major open item w.r.t. audit / compliance / system audit etc. should exist beyond a reasonable timeframe.
