Job summary

YES BANK in Gurugram seeks a Corporate Banking Relationship Manager to manage a portfolio of multinational clients, advising on funding strategies and guiding product selection to maximize ROI for the bank.

You will originate deals, structure financial solutions, obtain credit approvals, and cross-sell treasury, DCM, syndications, advisory, and corporate finance services to large corporates while monitoring performance and ensuring compliant execution.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate banking and lending.
• Strong client-facing and advisory skills.
• Knowledge of treasury solutions and debt capital markets.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of MNCs advising on funding strategies and product selection to maximize ROI for the Bank.
• Originate, structure and implement financial solutions; obtain credit approvals for large corporates.
• Cross-sell bank products including treasury, liabilities, DCM, syndications, advisory, and corporate finance.
• Monitor client performance and ensure smooth delivery of transactions.
• Expand share of wallet with customers and maintain ongoing operations alignment.
• Oversee risk, compliance, and documentation to adhere to regulatory requirements.

• Responsible for deal origination, structuring, obtaining credit approvals and implementation of financial solutions for a portfolio of clients spanning the large corporate houses.
• Cross-selling products of the bank including - treasury solutions, liabilities, Debt capital market solutions, Syndications, corporate advisory, investment banking, corporate finance, knowledge banking, etc. Focus on liabilities, transactional banking, and opportunistically look at lending for well priced deals.
• Monitoring the performance of the account client (financial performance etc.) on a regular basis.

Nurturing Relationship Managers and optimising their productivity

Policies, Processes & Procedures

• Identify the core focus segment for Escrow Product and drive
• Ensure process efficiency – on-boarding, documents, transaction execution etc.
• Digitization of the journey

Agreements vetting as per the applicable laws / FEMA regulations etc.

Risk and Internal Control

• Evaluating credit/risk profile of companies and structuring suitable financial solutions for them including structured finance, project finance, off-balance sheet finance, acquisition financing etc.
• All process / product needs to be compliant as per the law of the land

Agreement vetting should be in accordance of the law of land and compliance architecture as put up by the regulator. Demonstrated experience in this segment is required.

People Management

• Participate in recruitment activities & ensure retention / engagement of own team.
• Set performance objectives of own team, evaluate / appraise team members and provide regular feedback & guidance.

Evaluate training and development requirements for own team and make recommendations for learning interventions.

Documentation & Compliance

• Establish guidelines and conduct periodic audits to ensure adherence to the highest quality standards of documentation and process compliance.
• Communicate regularly with product partners, operations, risk management, and relationship management teams to ensure understanding and compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Respond promptly to compliance inquiries or issues raised by regulatory authorities.
