Product Manager Automations (Backend, Risk & Ops)
Experience- 2 to5 years
What will you do?
Scale and grow
- Find the highest-value manual processes and build the business case to automate them
- Turn automation into growth: faster payouts, instant pledge and margin, quicker issue resolution, and capacity
to onboard far more clients at the same cost
- Track and report savings and impact in hard numbers
Build and manage
- Own the automation roadmap and drive delivery with backend engineering, RMS, operations, finance and compliance
compliance
- Write clear specs for system integrations, rules engines and data pipelines
- Keep every automation audit-ready and compliant with SEBI and exchange requirements
AI-first
- Deploy AI agents and LLM workflows for operations: exception handling, reconciliation matching, document
processing, alert triage, support resolution
- Use AI and ML for risk: anomaly detection, early-warning signals, surveillance support
- Use AI tools daily for process mapping, analysis, prototyping and specs
Non-negotiables
- AI-first approach. You default to AI in how you work (research, specs, analysis, prototyping, testing) and in
- what you ship (AI-led features, agents, automation). You can show real examples of both.
- Sound technical depth. You understand how your product works under the hood (APIs, data flows, system
- dependencies, latency and failure points) well enough to challenge engineering and make trade-offs
- End-to-end ownership. You own the outcome, not the backlog: discovery, build, launch, adoption, revenue
- and ongoing scale.
Revenue and growth accountability. You set targets, track them weekly, and know which levers move them.
Out-of-the-box thinking. You question how things are done today and bring ideas the market has not seen
yet.
Go-getter and self-learner. You pick up new domains, tools and regulations on your own and move without
waiting for perfect information.
Good to have
- Stock broking back-office, RMS or clearing and settlement experience
- Knowledge of SEBI margin, collateral and reporting frameworks
- Hands-on with SQL, Python or low-code automation tools
