Job summary

INDIABULLS SECURITIES is seeking an AI-first Product Manager for Trading Platforms in Mumbai. You will own our trading platforms across mobile, web, and desktops, focusing on growing active traders, volumes and brokerage revenue across equity, F&O, commodity and currency.

You'll work in a lean product team, collaborating with engineering, RMS, operations, compliance, marketing and business heads to scale what you own and deliver measurable growth.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in product management, ideally on consumer, fintech or trading products.
• Demonstrated AI-first way of working, with examples of AI features shipped or AI tools used to ship faster.
• Solid technical understanding of trading systems: order lifecycle, OMS/RMS basics, exchange connectivity, market data feeds, APIs and latency.
• Hands-on derivatives experience (mandatory): deep understanding of F&O products, option chains, Greeks, margins, strategies and how active derivatives traders behave.
• Strong with data: SQL or analytics tools, funnel and cohort analysis.
• Clear proof of owning outcomes, not just features.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly active traders, order volumes and brokerage revenue for the trading platforms.
• Trader activation, retention and reactivation across segments.
• Order-flow experience: watchlists, charts, option chains, order placement, positions, P&L.
• Platform performance, stability and order-journey drop-offs.
• Build and run the growth plan with clear weekly and monthly targets.
• Find and fix leaks in the trader funnel from first trade to habitual activity.
• Launch features that drive revenue: F&O tools, strategy builders, MTF, margin journeys.
• Work with marketing and the business on campaigns, cohorts and in-app nudges.

About the role

You will own our trading platforms mobile app, web and desktop terminals and be accountable for growing

active traders, trading volumes and brokerage revenue across equity, F&O, commodity and currency. This is a

growth role first: you will build, but your primary job is to scale what you own.

You will sit in a lean product team that runs product as a business, working directly with engineering, RMS,

operations, compliance, marketing and the business heads.

What you will own

• Monthly active traders, order volumes and brokerage revenue for the trading platforms
• Trader activation, retention and reactivation across segments
• Order-flow experience: watchlists, charts, option chains, order placement, positions, P&L
• Platform performance, stability and order-journey drop-offs

What you will do

Scale and grow

• Build and run the growth plan for the trading platforms, with clear weekly and monthly targets
• Find and fix the biggest leaks in the trader funnel, from first trade to a habitually active trader
• Launch features that drive revenue: F&O tools, strategy builders, MTF, pledge and margin journeys, advanced

order types

• Work with marketing and the business on campaigns, cohorts and in-app nudges that move volumes

Build and manage

• Own the roadmap, write sharp specs and drive delivery with engineering, RMS and the

OMS/exchange-connectivity teams

• Make prioritisation calls based on revenue impact, effort and risk
• Track competitors closely and turn insights into differentiated features

AI-first

• Ship AI-led trading experiences: smart insights, personalised watchlists, AI-assisted option strategies,

conversational trading and support

• Use AI tools daily for user research, data analysis, prototyping, spec writing and QA

Non-negotiables

• AI-first approach. You default to AI in how you work (research, specs, analysis, prototyping, testing) and in what you ship (AI-led features, agents, automation). You can show real examples of both.
• Sound technical depth. You understand how your product works under the hood (APIs, data flows, system dependencies, latency and failure points) well enough to challenge engineering and make trade-offs.
• End-to-end ownership. You own the outcome, not the backlog: discovery, build, launch, adoption, revenue and ongoing scale.
• Revenue and growth accountability. You set targets, track them weekly, and know which levers move them.

Out-of-the-box thinking. You question how things are done today and bring ideas the market has not seen

yet.

• Go-getter and self-learner. You pick up new domains, tools and regulations on your own and move without waiting for perfect information.

Must-haves

What success looks like

• First 90 days: Own the trading-platform metrics dashboard, map the trader funnel and ship at least one measurable improvement.
• First 12 months: Deliver agreed growth in active traders and brokerage revenue, and launch at least one AI-led trading feature in production.

Who we are looking for

A stock broking or fintech background is a strong plus.
