Job description

Candidates will be responsible for the definition and execution of the product strategy for the Online Business (Unassisted channel). By online business, you will own the entire experience of CaratLane's consumer-facing website and apps. The person will work with business and technology teams, as well as relevant external vendors where necessary. Collaborate with Sales, Design, Marketing, and Technology teams to identify opportunities and gaps, develop product roadmaps and implementation plans, and ensure the timely delivery of the product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive cross-functional teams towards one common goal — aligning Sales, Design, Marketing, and Technology stakeholders around a shared product vision and roadmap.
  • Ability to drive and motivate cross-functional teams and increase the impact of the online business through unassisted flows.
  • Gain hands-on experience scaling a city's online business using all business levers (not just tech, product, and UX), such as driving category distribution, inventory management, etc.
  • Use product analytics tools (Mixpanel or similar) to track user behavior, measure feature adoption, and inform data-backed product decisions.
  • Own product conceptualization, definition, planning, and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer problems, omnichannel, supply chain, finance, and technology to synthesize a product strategy that improves customer experience, reduces cost, and brings efficiency into operations.
  • Measure the impact of all product developments and back it up with appropriate data.
  • Constantly iterate on product offerings based on feedback and data.
  • Be the go-to expert for the complete business solution — product functionality, constraints, business processes, value, stakeholder needs, and industry domain — including how it's used and where it meets or fails to meet customer needs.
  • Solve problems through problem-domain expertise.
  • Create buy-in for the product vision with key stakeholders.
  • Define new features through cohesive end-to-end thinking, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver and realize a winning offering.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on the full business solution — value generated, functionality, constraints, processes, and stakeholder needs.

Skills & Experience

  • B.E. + MBA (preferred).
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Product Manager. Hands-on development experience is a strong plus.
  • Hands-on AI experience to reduce the turnaround time (TAT) of product execution (which includes analysis, scoping, PRD writing, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Mixpanel (or similar product analytics tools) is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce, omnichannel, retail technologies, and supply chain is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional teams towards one common goal, influencing without direct authority.
  • Experience across all stages of the product lifecycle, from conceptualization to implementation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
