Job summary

Freecharge is seeking a Product Manager for Cross-Border & International Payments in Gurugram to own end-to-end product execution for international payment solutions. You will work with cross-functional teams to build scalable, compliant money movement services and optimize multi-currency settlements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Product Management in fintech or financial services
• Experience with cross-border/international payments, remittances, or global fintech preferred
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (RBI, FEMA, KYC, AML) and payment networks

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the product roadmap for Cross-Border and International payment solutions
• Translate product vision into clear requirements, user stories and measurable outcomes
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Operations, Compliance, Risk, Treasury and Business teams
• Build and enhance payment solutions for international money movement, cross-border collections, payouts and settlements
• Ensure products remain compliant with RBI, FEMA, KYC/AML and international payment standards
• Define success metrics and analyze product performance for continuous improvement
• Manage complete product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization

Product Manager Cross-Border & International Payments

About the Role

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Product Manager with strong experience in Cross-Border Payments, International Payments, or Global Fintech. The ideal candidate will own end-to-end product execution and work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, compliant, and customer-centric international payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive the product roadmap for Cross-Border and International Payment solutions, aligned with business and company objectives
• Translate product vision into clear requirements, user stories, and measurable outcomes
• Drive complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders, managing dependencies, regulations, and trade-offs
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Operations, Compliance, Risk, Treasury, and Business teams
• Build and enhance payment solutions for international money movement, cross-border collections, payouts, and settlements
• Ensure products remain compliant with RBI, FEMA, FX regulations, KYC/AML requirements, and applicable international payment standards
• Work closely with banking partners, payment networks, FX partners, and other ecosystem stakeholders
• Define success metrics, analyze product performance, and drive continuous improvement
• Identify problems, break down ambiguity, and apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Manage the complete product lifecycle from ideation and development to launch and post-launch optimization
• Understand customer and business requirements related to multi-currency payments, FX conversion, international settlements, and reconciliation
• Build and scale international payment solutions with a strong focus on customer experience, compliance, business impact, and operational efficiency

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably within Cross-Border Payments, International Payments, Fintech, Banking, or Financial Services
• Strong understanding or hands-on experience with Cross-Border Payments, International Remittances, FX, Multi-Currency Payments, International Collections, Payouts, or Settlements
• Good understanding of the Indian payments ecosystem and relevant regulations including RBI, FEMA, KYC, and AML
• Understanding of international payment flows, correspondent banking, SWIFT, payment partners, or global payment networks will be an added advantage
• Experience working with payment products involving international merchants, customers, or transactions is preferred
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Data-driven approach with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
