Job summary

Paytm is seeking a Product Manager to own and scale the Cross Border Payments platform. This role demands hands-on experience across acquiring, gateways, banking integrations, and cross-border settlement systems in a fast-growing payments ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience with strong exposure to payments infrastructure.
• Prior experience in acquiring, PSP, gateway, issuing, or global fintech environments.
• Deep understanding of cross-border payment rails, FX mechanics, and banking integrations.
• Strong execution focus with ability to operate in complex, high-scale environments.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product roadmap for cross-border payments including import/export flows, multi-currency acceptance, FX management, and settlement orchestration.
• Lead integrations with sponsor banks, payment networks, and FX partners.
• Design scalable settlement, reconciliation, and payment features aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Drive cross-functional execution across product, engineering, compliance, and business teams.
• Understand different technology platforms, work with solution architects/engineering leads and write detailed PRDs, roadmaps and deliverables.
• Influence multiple stakeholders and senior management to enable quicker decisions and clear roadblocks.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Product Manager to own and scale Paytm’s Cross Border Payments platform. This role requires deep hands-on experience in payment products across acquiring, gateways, banking integrations, and cross-border settlement systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product roadmap for cross-border payments including import/export flows, multi-currency acceptance, FX management, and settlement orchestration.


• Lead integrations with sponsor banks, payment networks, and FX partners.


• Design scalable settlement, reconciliation, and payment features aligned with regulatory requirements.


• Drive cross-functional execution across product, engineering, compliance, and business teams.


• Ability to understand different technology platforms, their features and be able to work with solution architects/engineering leads and write detailed product requirement documents, manage future roadmaps and deliverables.


• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders / senior management / cross-functional teams to influence them for quicker decisions, manage sudden technical roadblocks and be able to clear them.
