Job summary

L&T Semiconductor Technologies in Bengaluru is seeking a Product Manager for Module products covering cellular and non-cellular domains. You will lead definition, development, and commercialization, aligning with strategy and customer needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical/Electronics Engineering; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years in product management/technical marketing in RFIC/semiconductors.
  • Strong understanding of RF front-end design, transceivers, and integration challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Own product vision and roadmap for Module portfolio.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and identify emerging trends.
  • Prioritize features and applications based on ROI and customer impact.
  • Work with engineering teams on design requirements, tape-out schedules, and validation plans.
  • Partner with sales/marketing to develop go-to-market strategies and customer engagement models.
  • Act as the primary interface between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Oversee product development milestones: concept, design, tape-out, qualification, release.
  • Manage updates, enhancements, and end-of-life planning.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and certifications.
  • Build strong relationships with OEMs, operators, and ecosystem partners.
  • Support design-in activities and provide product guidance.
  • Gather customer feedback to refine roadmap and product features.

Job Title: Product Manager – Module (Cellular & Non-Cellular Domains)

Department: Product Management

Reports To: RF & Communication Head

Role Purpose

To lead the definition, development, and commercialization of Module products in both cellular and non-cellular domains, ensuring alignment with company strategy and customer needs.

Core Responsibilities
  • Own product vision and roadmap for Module portfolio.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and identify emerging trends.
  • Prioritize features and applications based on ROI and customer impact.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years in product management/technical marketing in RFIC/semiconductors.
  • Deep understanding of RF front-end design, transceivers, and integration challenges.
  • Experience with fabless semiconductor supply chain and business models.
  • Knowledge of cellular standards (LTE, 5G NR) and non-cellular protocols (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS, LPWAN).
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with EDA tools, tape-out processes, and RF validation methodologies.
  • Proven track record of successful RFIC product launches.
  • Strong balance of technical depth and business acumen.
