Job summary

Trinity Mobility in India is seeking a Product Manager to oversee the product lifecycle from ideation to launch. You will define the product vision, gather requirements, and collaborate with R&D, sales, marketing and support to drive revenue and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes end-to-end product management for software products and requires strong communication, adaptability, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap.
  • Own the product lifecycle from requirements gathering through production and release; deliverables to support product release and GTM materials.
  • Collect, manage and maintain traceability of requirements from all stakeholders across product releases.
  • Determine customers' needs by specifying research to obtain market information.
  • Recommend the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing specs and requirements.
  • Assess market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
  • Provide data for product line communications by defining marketing objectives.
  • Obtain product market share by working with sales to develop product sales strategies.
  • Determine pricing using market research data; review costs; anticipate volume.
  • Perform product demos to customers and build relationships with key clients.
  • Promote the product to sales teams through training, webinars, newsletters and other mechanisms.
  • Develop and deliver training to technical sales support.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Job description

The Product Manager is responsible for both product planning and product marketing. This includes managing the product throughout the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with R&D, to deliver winning products. It also includes working with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company's overall strategy and goals.

Responsibilities

Define the product strategy and roadmap

Own the product lifecycle from requirements gathering through production and release. Responsible for deliverables to support product release as well as GTM (Product collaterals like Product release communication, Product data sheet etc)

Collect, manage and maintain traceability of requirements from all stakeholders across product releases

Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.

Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes.

Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.

Provides source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives.

Obtains product market share by working with sales and pre-sales to develop product sales strategies.

Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; costing special and customized orders.

Perform product demos to customers and develop relationships in key clients

Promote the product to sales teams through sales training sessions, webinars, newsletters and other mechanisms

Develop and deliver training to technical sales support

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

2+ years of product management experience, with a focus on software products and technologies

End-to-end product management experience with software/web technologies.

A team player with excellent communication skills; agile, creative and tenacious, who can thrive in a constantly changing environment

Ability to conceptualize the business requirements and convert them into the product requirements

Empathy towards needs, concerns and experience of end user of the product in designing the wireframes as well as process flows

Maturity, judgement, and proven ability to build strong relationships, and lead and influence others.

Independently driven, resourceful, and able to deliver results with minimal direction.

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with developers and business owners.

High sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.

Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

Must be able to travel 60% of the time

Examples and at least one sample of an effective document delivered in the past
