Job summary

Cosy Farms in Mumbai offers a product/industrial designer internship focused on shaping the look and functional integration of indoor farming units within premium spaces. You will move concepts from sketch to CAD to prototype, collaborating closely with the mechanical team, and spend time on-site at the farm and client locations to observe real usage.

The internship is 3 months long, starting between 10 July 2026 and 15 August 2026, in-office and full-time, with an emphasis on material

DESCRIPTION

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

• 1. Help shape the overall look and feel of our indoor farming units, so the whole product reads as one considered design.
• 2. Design how the unit sits inside a premium hotel space - blending in while giving Cosy its own identity.
• 3. Work hands-on on the growing trays - their shape and moulding.
• 4. Select materials and finishes for production, balancing looks, food safety, durability, cost, and manufacturability.
• 5. Take ideas from sketch to CAD to prototype, working closely with the mechanical team to get them built.
• 6. Spend time at the farm and on client sites to see how the unit is actually used, and design around that.

• 1. Are able to commute to Goregaon East, Mumbai.
• 2. Can commit to the full internship duration without overlapping with exams or another internship.
• 3. Are comfortable spending time on-site at the farm, not purely a desk/remote role, despite the WFH flexibility.
• 4. Have working proficiency in English for day-to-day coordination with the team
