Job summary

Cosy Farms in Mumbai is seeking a proactive intern to support procurement and inventory management. You will maintain live inventory records, compare stock against plans, collect quotes from vendors, and visit markets across Mumbai to locate parts.

You will identify and onboard new vendors, keep the vendor register updated with contacts and lead times, and track every order from placement to delivery while sharing weekly stock updates with the team.

Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

• Maintain a live record of current inventory - what we hold, what is running low, and what is already on order
• Compare current stock against planned stock levels and raise orders only where there is a gap
• Collect and compare quotes from vendors for the parts and materials specified by the design team
• Visit material markets across Mumbai to locate parts, meet suppliers and collect samples
• Find new and hard-to-find parts - identify who makes or stocks them and work out how to get them procured
• Identify and onboard new vendors, and keep the vendor register updated with contacts, rates and lead times
• Track every order from placement to delivery, and flag delays before they hold up a build
• Share a weekly update on stock position, open orders and new vendors added
