Job summary

Mainetti is seeking a Technical Packaging Expert to drive manufacturing excellence across owned facilities and partner operations. You will be the primary technical authority on printing technologies including offset, flexo, and digital, as well as finishing, coatings, and bindery processes to ensure seamless development and bulk production.

• Print & Prepress Engineering: Standardize processes across offset, flexo, and digital print technologies, including prepress and file optimization.
• Color & Ink Management: Establish advanced color management procedures and ink technologies for brand consistency.
• Costing: Advise on setup, run speed, and yield to inform cost estimates.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with design, production, and vendors to optimize global manufacturing efficiency.

Job description

Technical Packaging Expert to drive manufacturing excellence across owned facilities as well as operations belonging to strategic partners. Will serve as the primary technical authority on printing technologies including offset, flexo, and digital along with finishing technologies for coatings/varnishes, specialty finishes (emboss/deboss, etc) and bindery technologies (die cut singles, roll form, fold/glue, etc)ensuring seamless execution to support product development and bulk production.

Key Responsibilities

• Print & Prepress Engineering: Standardize processes across offset, flexo, and digital print technologies including prepress, plate making, and file optimization.
• Color & Ink Management: Establish advanced color management procedures and ink technologies to guarantee absolute brand consistency.
• Costing – Advise on best practices for set up, run speed, yield, etc to inform cost estimating
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with design, production, and vendors to troubleshoot technical constraints and optimize global manufacturing efficiency.
