Job summary

GreytHR in Bengaluru is seeking a Product Designer with 4 to 7 years of hands-on UX design experience for web and mobile platforms. You will own the end-to-end design of core modules within the Cloud HR Tech ecosystem, collaborating with PMs, developers, and QA.

In this IC role, you will craft simple, modern experiences, build scalable design systems, and leverage AI tools to accelerate ideation and iteration while ensuring developer-ready handoffs to engineering teams.

Job description

GreytHR is looking for a Product Designer with 4 to 7 years of experience to take end-to-end ownership of core modules in our Cloud HR Tech platform.

In this Individual Contributor (IC) role, you will sit within a cross-functional product pod (working alongside PMs, frontend/backend devs, and QA). Your main focus will be cracking complex UX designs into super-simple, modern web and mobile app experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• End-to-End Module Ownership: Take feature requests from initial PRDs (Product Requirement Documents) all the way to pixel-perfect visual designs for both web and native mobile apps (iOS & Android).
• Design Thinking & Execution: Conduct quick user research, build wireframes, define user journeys, and iterate on high-fidelity visual mockups in Figma and AI tools.
• Figma & Design Systems: Maintain, update, and scale our central Figma component library. Use auto-layout, design tokens, and interactive components to ensure design consistency across the pod.
• AI-First Workflow: Actively leverage modern AI tools for rapid ideation, microcopy, qualitative research summaries, and tactical workflow shortcuts.
• Dev Handoff & Pod Sync: Collaborate daily with frontend engineers during planning and execution to ensure dev-ready handoffs and precise design implementation.
• Usability & Iteration: Run quick usability tests with internal/external stakeholders, gather feedback, and iterate quickly based on metrics and user pain points.

REQUIREMENTS

• 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience designing UI/UX for web and mobile products, ideally in B2B SaaS, WorkTech, Fintech, or complex enterprise software.
• Figma: Expert-level mastery of Figma.
• Practical Design Thinking: Strong fundamentals in information architecture, task flows, visual hierarchy, and interaction design.
• AI Tooling Integration: Practical experience using AI tools in your day-to-day design lifecycle to work smarter and ship faster.
• Product Sense: Ability to balance design aesthetics with tech feasibility and business impact.
• Strong Communication: Ability to articulate design decisions clearly during design reviews and pod syncs.
