Job summary

Alfa Laval Mid Europe GmbH seeks a Product & Application Engineer to advise on Flow & Heat Transfer equipment. Based in Pune, India or Cairo, Egypt, you will size and price heat exchangers, agitators, valves, pumps and other fluid handling products while collaborating with sales teams to tailor solutions for food, pharma and water industries.

You will lead technical discussions, deliver product trainings, and drive awareness through virtual sessions, campaigns and product launches, using CRM

Qualifications

• Mechanical or Chemical Engineering graduate / Diploma holder as Product & Application Engineer.
• Robust experience handling quotations and customer communication.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Food, Pharma and Water industries.

Responsibilities

• Work with External & Inside Sales teams to meet/exceed customer requirements.
• Lead technical parts of customer requests with visits/meetings with customers.
• Lead and support quotation processes in customer projects.
• Run virtual meetings, seminars, and webinars to raise awareness of AL products.
• Be product champion in launches/campaigns and drive campaigns.
• Deliver local training programs for AL employees, channels, and customers.
• Use the One CRM tool to support the sales process and decisions.
• Ensure governance and business principles within the area of responsibility.

We are looking for a passionate & dedicated Product and Application Engineer who will be based out of Pune, India or Cairo, Egypt.P&A Engineer is a key technical advisor and product advocate to actively drive and to manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process.The person would be closely working with Flow & Heat Transfer Products within Business Unit WIFH. Foundational technical knowledge of Heat Transfer & thermal products for Industrial applications like Sugar, Edible Oil, Starch, Ethanol and Wastewater will be an advantage.
