This is a full-time on-site role located in Bengaluru for a Supply Chain Management (SCM) Procurement Specialist. The responsibilities include creating and managing purchase orders, evaluating supplier performance and reliability, negotiating contracts to ensure cost efficiency, and analysing supply chain data for informed decision-making. The role will also involve ensuring compliance with procurement policies and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on experience with the Fusion360 tool.
- Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring smooth flow of materials and products.
- Vendor management: Select, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, timely delivery, and cost efficiency.
- Oversee procurement, inventory management, and logistics, maintaining optimal stock levels and minimising costs.
- Analyse supply chain metrics and generate reports for management decision-making.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to improve operational efficiency.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in SCM operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Requirements
- Experience with purchase orders and procurement processes.
- Proficiency in Supplier Evaluation and Contract Negotiation.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting supply chain data and making strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and supply chain management tools is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in supply chain or procurement (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) are advantageous.
- Graduate in Commerce / Science / Management (MBA or PG Diploma in Supply Chain preferred).
- 1-4 years of SCM experience in SCM.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, procurement software, and MS Excel.
- Proven experience in supply chain and vendor management, ideally in mid- to senior-level roles.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory control, logistics, and reporting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with vendors and internal teams.
- Proficiency in ERP or SCM software is a plus.
