Search Advisers Services Guj in Hyderabad, India, seeks a seasoned procurement professional to manage end-to-end sourcing of sheet metal, fabricated components, bus bars, and related materials for plant operations. You will develop sourcing strategies, lead supplier negotiations, and drive should-cost analyses, value engineering, and risk mitigation with cross-functional teams.

Role & responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of sheet metal, fabricated components, copper/aluminium bus bars, hardware, insulation, and packaging materials.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies, supplier selection, qualification, negotiations, and contract management.
• Drive clean-sheet/should-cost analysis, BOM-level costing, cost reduction, and value engineering.
• Evaluate sheet metal manufacturing processes, including laser cutting, CNC punching/bending, welding, tooling, and powder coating.
• Lead supplier development, localization, alternate sourcing, and risk mitigation initiatives.
• Ensure uninterrupted plant material supply, supplier quality, inventory efficiency, and on-time delivery.

Preferred candidate profile

• 1220 years of experience in strategic sourcing/procurement within Busway, switchgear, electrical equipment, panel building, or sheet metal fabrication.
• Strong hands-on expertise in sheet metal costing, clean-sheet costing, cost breakdowns, tooling, and fabrication processes.
• Experience in procurement of fabricated parts and copper/aluminium bus-bar or conductor materials.
• Prior experience managing end-to-end plant procurement, supplier development, and supply continuity.
• Proven track record in cost optimization, localization, supplier negotiations, and cross-functional leadership.
