Job summary

APAR Industries is seeking a procurement professional to manage metal and scrap sourcing, strategic supplier relationships across India and international markets, and import coordination for timely deliveries. The role also covers purchase operations, cost control and MIS reporting with emphasis on RFQ management, negotiations and supplier follow-ups.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing or supply chain operations.
• Experience in metal procurement, copper/aluminium/steel sourcing, metal scrap or non-ferrous metals will be highly preferred.
• Exposure to metal trading, recycling, cable manufacturing, metal processing or industrial manufacturing will be an advantage.
• Experience in vendor development, RFQ management, quotation analysis, commercial negotiations and purchase-order management.

Job description

Role & responsibilities:

1. Metal & Scrap Procurement

• Source and procure metals such as copper, aluminium, steel, brass and other relevant raw materials, including metal scrap.
