Job summary

Ecolab Global Services is seeking a Procurement Associate for the Procurement Hub in Pune to support Source to Pay activities including intake of requests, RFx setup, supplier onboarding, and P2P services. Responsibilities include coordinating with stakeholders, handling inquiries, negotiating supplier rates, and creating reports while identifying cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.

A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in procurement or related fields are preferred, with SAP or GEP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in management, business, finance, engineering, or supply chain.
• 3+ years of experience in master data, procurement, shared services, finance, or supply chain operations.
• Experience delivering multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Monitor sourcing project requests and validate inputs with stakeholders to assign the right team.
• Monitor sourcing email box and acknowledge inquiries per SLA.
• Handle inquiries from internal customers and external vendors with professional, high-quality service.
• Collaborate with business and suppliers to administer eSourcing tool for RFx events.
• Participate in and manage client, business, and supplier calls.
• Negotiate supplier rates and present recommendations to the business.
• Aid in resolving Purchase Requisition/PO/Invoicing issues.
• Identify ways to influence spend and reduce cost.
• Create reports and presentation decks for internal stakeholders.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements.

Job description

The Procurement Associate- Procurement Hub supports a range of Source to Pay activities, including but not limited to: intake and triage of sourcing project requests, stakeholder and supplier communication and support, setup and administration of RFx events, supplier selection/onboarding, reporting, compliance checks, policy enforcement, rate negotiation, catalog management and procure to pay services.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor sourcing project requests, validating inputs with stakeholders, and assignment of appropriate team to proceed in the sourcing process
• Monitor sourcing email box for incoming support queries and acknowledge them as per SLA
• Handling email inquiries from internal customers, as well as external vendors. Delivering professional, useful, high-quality service and assistance before, during, and after the customer''s requirements are met
• Collaborate with Business and Suppliers to administer eSourcing tool for RFx events
• Participate and manage client, business, and supplier calls
• Supplier rate negotiation and recommendation to Business
• Aid in resolving Purchase Requisition/Purchase Order/Invoicing issues
• Identify unique ways to influence client spend and opportunities to reduce cost
• Create report generation and presentation decks for internal procurement and business stakeholders
• Identify process gaps in the business process with recommendation for improvement

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or Supply Chain
• 3+ years of experience in master data, procurement, shared services, finance, supply chain operations or related field.
• Experience with managing and delivering multiple projects, tasks, and initiatives simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Chemistry, or Finance.Or in process of completing an advanced degree
• Experience inSAP, GEP or other Source to Pay systems in a procurement or shared services environment
• Experience in sourcing Indirect Procurement or supply chain management experience
