Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Procurement Associate – Procurement Hub to support S2P activities across intake, RFx, supplier onboarding, and spend analysis. You will coordinate with stakeholders, manage supplier communications, and help drive cost-saving initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in procurement or related finance/shared services, with experience in SAP or similar Source-to-Pay tools. Based in Pune, India.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in management, business, finance, engineering, or supply chain.
• 3+ years of experience in master data, procurement, shared services, finance, supply chain operations or a related field.
• Experience managing and delivering multiple projects, tasks, and initiatives simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Monitor sourcing project requests, validating inputs with stakeholders, and assigning to the appropriate team to proceed in the sourcing process.
• Monitor the sourcing email box for incoming support queries and acknowledge them as per SLA.
• Handle email inquiries from internal customers and external vendors, delivering professional, useful, high-quality service and assistance.
• Collaborate with business and suppliers to administer the eSourcing tool for RFx events.
• Participate in and manage client, business, and supplier calls.
• Negotiate supplier rates and recommend to business.
• Aid in resolving Purchase Requisition/Purchase Order/Invoicing issues.
• Identify unique ways to influence client spend and opportunities to reduce cost.
• Create report generation and presentation decks for internal procurement and business stakeholders.
• Identify process gaps in the business process with recommendations for improvement.

The Procurement Associate – Procurement Hub supports a range of Source to Pay activities, including but not limited to: intake and triage of sourcing project requests, stakeholder and supplier communication and support, setup and administration of RFx events, supplier selection/onboarding, reporting, compliance checks, policy enforcement, rate negotiation, catalog management and procure‑to‑pay services.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in management, business, finance, engineering, or supply chain.
• 3+ years of experience in master data, procurement, shared services, finance, supply chain operations or a related field.
• Experience managing and delivering multiple projects, tasks, and initiatives simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in business, engineering, chemistry, or finance, or in the process of completing an advanced degree.
• Experience with SAP, GEP, or other Source‑to‑Pay systems in a procurement or shared services environment.
• Experience in sourcing indirect procurement or supply chain management.
• Finance, audit, compliance experience.
