Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead Fitness & Wellness initiatives from the Head Office. The role will be responsible for strategic planning, vendor management (domestic & international), and end-to-end oversight of fitness and wellness equipment projects. The incumbent will ensure compliance with national and international standards while driving efficiency, quality, and innovation across projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of fitness & wellness equipment projects from planning to execution.
• Manage and strengthen relationships with international and domestic suppliers, ensuring alignment on quality, timelines, and commercial terms.
• Ensure adherence to national and international fitness & wellness standards, guidelines, and safety norms.
• Oversee equipment selection, technical evaluation, and specification finalization for various projects.
• Drive strategic sourcing and procurement, including cost optimization and vendor negotiations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Service, Logistic & Warehouse, Marketing, Finance, HR etc.) to ensure seamless execution.
• Monitor market trends, global innovations, and emerging technologies in the fitness & wellness industry.
• Guide & mentor team members, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and capability building.
• Review and approve technical documentation, layouts, proposals, and vendor submissions.
• Handle high-level stakeholder management, including internal leadership and external partners.

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sports Science, Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of relevant experience in fitness & wellness, sports infrastructure, or equipment management.
• Proven experience in handling international vendors and large-scale projects.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong working knowledge of national and international fitness & wellness standards, rules, and compliance requirements.
• In-depth understanding of fitness and wellness equipment (cardio, strength, rehab, specialty equipment).
• Excellent vendor management, negotiation, and stakeholder handling skills.
• Strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities.
• Strong communication skills for global coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and high-value deliverables.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in import procedures, international procurement, and compliance.
• Exposure to government/PSU or institutional projects (added advantage).
• Leadership experience with team management and cross-functional coordination.
