Job summary

Miduty is seeking a result-oriented Manager – Procurement to lead end-to-end sourcing for raw materials, packaging, and indirect spends. The role will work closely with the Procurement Lead to ensure cost efficiency, quality compliance, supplier performance, and uninterrupted supply for business operations.

Responsibilities include executing sourcing strategies, onboarding vendors, issuing POs, managing supplier performance, and maintaining procurement MIS.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Procurement / Sourcing roles.
  • Experience in FMCG, D2C, Pharma, Nutraceuticals, or Manufacturing preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Good understanding of procurement processes, contracts, and commercial terms.
  • Analytical mindset with strong execution capabilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / similar).
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, growth-stage environments.

Responsibilities

  • Execute sourcing strategies for raw materials, packaging materials, and services as per business requirements.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors in line with quality, compliance, and cost benchmarks.
  • Float RFQs, conduct negotiations, and finalize commercial terms with suppliers.
  • Ensure timely issuance of Purchase Orders (POs) and contract adherence.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with existing and new suppliers.
  • Monitor vendor performance on cost, quality, delivery, and service levels.
  • Drive continuous cost optimization and value engineering initiatives.
  • Coordinate with Production, Quality, Finance, and Planning teams to ensure smooth material flow.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement processes and SOPs.
  • Resolve supply chain or vendor-related escalations proactively.
  • Maintain procurement MIS, vendor databases, and documentation.
  • Share regular reports on savings, vendor performance, and procurement KPIs.
  • Support audits and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Sourcing

  • Execute sourcing strategies for raw materials, packaging materials, and services as per business requirements

  • Support cost reduction and margin improvement initiatives
  • Track price trends, commodity movements, and market intelligence
  • Ensure procurement activities align with approved budgets

Operations & Coordination

  • Coordinate with Production, Quality, Finance, and Planning teams to ensure smooth material flow
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement processes and SOPs
  • Resolve supply chain or vendor-related escalations proactively

MIS & Reporting

  • Maintain procurement MIS, vendor databases, and documentation
  • Share regular reports on savings, vendor performance, and procurement KPIs
  • Support audits and compliance requirements

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Procurement / Sourcing roles
