Associate Expeditor

Reporting To: Lead Expeditor
Experience: 3-6 Years

Salary 3 LPA - 5 LPA

To monitor and expedite purchase orders, coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services as per project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and expedite assigned Purchase Orders (POs) to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to track production progress and identify delays.
• Maintain expediting trackers, delivery schedules, and procurement status reports.
• Follow up with vendors for manufacturing schedules, inspection documents, test certificates, dispatch clearances, and other required documents.
• Identify supply chain risks, vendor performance issues, and delivery bottlenecks and **escalate** critical concerns.
• Ensure compliance with PO terms, contractual delivery requirements, and procurement procedures.
• Track supplier performance, delivery KPIs, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to management.

Qualification & Skills

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 36 years of experience in Expediting, Material Management, Vendor Management, Procurement, or Supply Chain.
• Experience in Vendor Relationship Management (VRM) will be an advantage.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP is mandatory.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Strong vendor follow‑up, coordination, communication, and reporting skills.
• Ability to identify delivery risks and drive timely corrective actions.
