Job summary

Engineering Graphic Service is seeking an Expeditor - Instrumentation & I&C Packages to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. You will monitor purchase orders, coordinate with suppliers, track deliveries, and resolve delays, while collaborating with internal teams to meet project schedules.

The role involves engaging with suppliers, verifying documentation, and ensuring manufacturing clearances are issued in line with project plans.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 3–8 years of experience in expediting, procurement, supply chain or project coordination.
• Experience in engineering or EPC industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and expedite purchase orders from issuance through delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers to meet the delivery schedule.
• Follow up with sub-suppliers for documentation and approvals for end customer sign-off.
• Issue manufacturing clearance to suppliers based on project plans.
• Monitor supplier manufacturing progress and escalate delays.
• Escalate critical delays to procurement and project management teams.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and end customers for inspection and dispatch clearance.
• Track dispatches until receipt of material.
• Evaluate supplier responsiveness and delivery performance.
• Update PO status in project management systems and participate in standups.

Job Summary

The Expeditor is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of materials or services as per purchase order conditions. The role involves monitoring purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, tracking deliveries, resolving delays, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure project schedules and business objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and expedite purchase orders from issuance through delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers for their execution plan to meet the delivery schedule.
• Follow up with sub suppliers for timely submission of documentation for end customer approvals. Also coordinate with internal stakeholders so that timely review of documentation is done.
• Based on documentation approvals and project plan provided by project management team issuance of manufacturing clearance to suppliers.
• Monitoring the manufacturing progress by suppliers.
• Escalate critical delays or performance issues to procurement and project management teams.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders & end customer for inspection and subsequent dispatch clearance.
• Monitoring of dispatches by suppliers till the receipt of material.
• Evaluate supplier responsiveness and delivery performance.
• Update the purchase order status in project management systems and participate in regular project management standups to update the status to project management team.

Qualifications

• Diploma / bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 3 to 8 years of experience in expediting, procurement, supply chain, project coordination, or a related role.
• Experience working in engineering or EPC industries preferred.
