• Procurement of packaging consumables and bought-out parts; sourcing, supplier selection, and price negotiations.
• Raise purchase orders, coordinate with production and stores, and track deliveries to align with schedules.

Job description

• Responsible for procurement of brought-out parts/items used in assembly
• Sourcing & procuring, corrugated boxes, stickers, labels, inserts, tapes, and other packaging consumables.
• Identify and develop reliable vendors for packaging and outsourced components.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Raise purchase orders and coordinate deliveries in alignment with production schedules.
• Collaborate with production, planning, and stores departments to understand material requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimum stock of packaging and bought-out items.
• Track supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
• Ensure compliance with quality and packaging specifications defined by the organization.
