Responsibilities

• Identify and develop reliable manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and vendors for medical devices, disposables, healthcare products, and related items.
• Conduct market research to identify new products, alternative suppliers, manufacturers, and competitive sources.
• Build and maintain a strong database of potential and existing suppliers.
• Evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, capacity, reliability and terms.
• Negotiate competitive rates and other business terms with suppliers.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.
• Source new and existing medical products per business requirements and market demand.
• Coordinate with suppliers to understand availability, lead times, minimum order quantities, and supply capabilities.
• Collect and analyze supplier quotations, product details, certifications, and other information.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Executive with 1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the medical devices, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical supplies industry.

The candidate will be responsible for supplier identification, vendor development, product sourcing, market research, supplier evaluation, price negotiation, and ensuring the availability of required products. The role will involve working closely with the Purchase, Sales, Warehouse, and other relevant teams to support the organization's sourcing and procurement requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop reliable manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and vendors for medical devices, medical disposables, healthcare products, and related products.
• Conduct market research to identify new products, alternative suppliers, manufacturers, and competitive sources.
• Build and maintain a strong database of potential and existing suppliers.
• Evaluate suppliers based on product quality, certifications, pricing, capacity, reliability, and business terms.
• Negotiate competitive rates and other business requirements with suppliers.
• Develop and maintain long‑time professional relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.
• Source new and existing medical products as per business requirements and market demand.
• Collect and analyse supplier quotations, product details, specifications, certifications, and other relevant information.
• Coordinate with suppliers to understand product availability, lead times, minimum order quantities, and supply capabilities.
• Conduct regular market research to identify cost-effective sourcing opportunities and new business possibilities.
• Explore alternative suppliers to ensure business continuity and reduce dependency on limited sources.
• Coordinate with the Purchase Team by providing relevant supplier and product information required for procurement decisions.
• Coordinate with the Sales and Business Development teams to understand product requirements and identify suitable sourcing opportunities.
• Support the organization in expanding its product portfolio by identifying new medical and healthcare products.
• Maintain updated supplier records, vendor databases, product information, pricing data, and market research reports.
• Follow up with suppliers regarding product samples, technical details, certifications, and other required information.
• Ensure all procurement activities are aligned with the company's internal processes and business requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline. Candidates with a background in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Medical Devices, Supply Chain, or a related field will be preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in Procurement, Sourcing or Vendor Development, preferably in the medical devices, healthcare, pharmaceutical or medical supplies industry.
• Good understanding of medical products and healthcare suppliers will be an advantage.
• Strong supplier identification and vendor development skills.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong market research and analytical abilities.
