Job summary

Healthium Medtech Limited seeks an experienced sourcing leader to drive global procurement for medical devices. You will define strategic goals, evaluate suppliers, and build a robust supplier base aligned with forecasts and budget expectations.

The role requires 12–15 years in sourcing, strong communication, SAP knowledge, and a track record of derisking supply chains through strategic contracts and market insights.

Qualifications

• Engineering Graduate, preferably Electronics/Mechanical.
• Diploma In Supply Chain Management.
• Exposure to SAP is a must.

Responsibilities

• Define strategic sourcing goals and implement them.
• Evaluate supplier core competencies and competitive positioning using cost models.
• Develop suppliers as per business requirements.
• Build sustainable collaboration with key suppliers via long-term contracts.
• Analyze industry trends and market dynamics to identify supply risks and ensure continuity at stable pricing.
• Leverage trade shows, conferences and social media for product sourcing and vendor development.
• Establish data-centric supplier management focusing on QCD and set medium/long-term goals.
• Collaborate with Planning to align forecasts and build supplier base.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

1. Defining strategic sourcing goals & its effective Implementation.

2. Evaluation of supplier core competencies & competitive positioning using Industry Cost Models.

3. Develop suppliers as per business requirements.

4. Build a strong & sustainable collaboration with Key suppliers, by execution of long-term contracts.

5. Analyze Industry trends, Market Dynamics to proactively identify supply related issues to minimize risk. Ensure continuity of supply at consistent pricing.

6. Making use of trade shows, conferences & other social Media: In Product sourcing, Component development and Vendor development. 7. Establish data centric Supplier management program for Key Purchases focusing QCD. Set medium- & Long term goals as a part of continuous improvement

8. Work closely with Planning team, Understand Business forecasts & establish supplier base to fulfil this requirement.

9. Ensure smooth transition of Vendor base to Tactical team.

10. Address any escalations raised by Planning, purchase & quality functions in terms of supplier performance.

11. Develop & implement a sustainable sourcing strategy.

12. Work on alternate sources for Key RM/PM/Consumables & derisk the business.

13. Preparation of the annual Purchasing Budget considering all the variable factors.

14. Getting update on NPD regularly from the Respective stake holders. 15. Coordination and support for purchase of sample Orders.

16. Handle the Purchases for Trial Order purchases.

17. Ensure smooth Transition of NPD approved products to the commercial Purchase.

Qualification

Engineering Graduate, Preferably in Electronics/Mechanical stream.

• Diploma In Supply chain management.

Work Experience

12 - 15 years of experience in related field Strong preference for candidates with Global sourcing experience & specifically in medical devices. Good communication & presentation skills. Thorough knowledge of commercials both in terms of domestic & imports. Exposure to SAP is a must.
