Job summary

Asian Energy Services is seeking a procurement/expediting professional to monitor vendor activities and ensure on-time delivery for project schedules in Mumbai. You will coordinate with project managers and procurement, track progress, and maintain status reports to keep stakeholders informed.

Ideal candidates have 3-7 years in procurement/expediting and hold a BE/B.Tech from a recognised university. Strong communication and collaboration across teams are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in Procurement, Purchase, Expediting or Supply Chain functions.
• BE/B.Tech in any specialisation from a recognised university.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and expedite vendor activities to ensure timely delivery of materials and services as per project schedules.
• Coordinate expediting activities with Project Managers and the Procurement Manager to meet project milestones.
• Track vendor progress and ensure compliance with committed delivery timelines.
• Maintain and regularly update project expediting reports with accurate status information.
• Prepare and circulate weekly expediting reports to internal stakeholders.
• Liaise with suppliers, service providers, and internal teams to resolve day-to-day procurement and delivery issues.
• Coordinate with vendors to address urgent or emergency procurement requirements.
• Ensure timely and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Follow up with vendors and internal departments regarding invoices and payment processing.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies, including blocked invoice issues, in coordination with the finance team.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Support procurement operations by ensuring smooth coordination between vendors, project teams, and internal departments.
• Work collaboratively within a team to achieve procurement and project objectives.
