Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support Procurement Manager in day-to-day procurement and sourcing activities.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard suppliers across South Asia and global markets.
• Execute RFQs, prepare cost breakdowns, and compile quotations and comparisons.
• Maintain landed cost structures covering product cost, freight, duties, and other costs.
• Build reports and insights to support cost optimization and efficiency.

Job Title: Procurement Executive

Role Overview

Weare seeking a detail-oriented and analytically strong Procurement Executive tosupport procurement and sourcing operations within an import-driven businessenvironment. This role focuses on execution, RFQ management, suppliercoordination, and cost analysis, working closely with the Procurement Manager.

Theideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with importer-focusedcompanies (India-based or foreign based) and operating within internationalprocurement environments, with strong capability in landed cost analysis anddata-driven decision support.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Procurement Manager in day-to-day procurement and sourcing activities.
• Assist in supplier identification, evaluation, and onboarding across South Asia and global markets.
• Execute and support the RFQ (Request for Quotation)process, including:
• Preparing RFQs based on product specifications andbusiness requirements
• Sending RFQs to suppliers and ensuring timely responses and follow-ups
• Compiling supplier quotations and preparing comparison sheets
• Supporting detailed cost breakdown analysis and data validation
• Prepare and maintain landed cost structures, includingproduct cost, freight, duties, tariffs, and other associated costscomponents.
• Conduct cost analysis and pricing evaluation to support procurement decision-making and margin planning.
• Support the development of pricing inputs and cost models for bid proposals (final pricing ownership remains with theManager).
• Maintain procurement data within ERP systems and internal tools.
• Track purchase orders and ensure timely follow-ups with suppliers.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of product specifications, RFQ documentation, and procurement data.
• Generate reports and insights to support cost optimization and operational efficiency.

Key Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree(MBA or equivalent) preferred, preferably in Supply Chain, Operations,International Business, or related field.

Experience

• 5–7 years of experience in procurement or sourcingfunctions.
• Mandatory experience supporting importer-focusedcompanies (India-based or global) operating in import-driven businessmodels.
• Proven experience working within an internationalprocurement environment.
• Experience supporting foreign-based importer companiesis preferred.
• Hands-on experience working with suppliers across SouthAsia and other global sourcing regions.
• Practical experience in RFQ preparation, issuance, andquotation analysis.

Import Environment & Cost Understanding

• Proven experience working in environments involving international trade and import cost structures, including:
• Customs duties and tariffs
• Freight and logistics cost components
• Incoterms and related cost implications
• Strong ability to understand and incorporate landed cost components into cost analysis and pricing support (coordination with logistics providers is not a primary responsibility).

Systems, Analytics & Costing

• Experience with ERP systems and procurementtools.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysisand modeling.
• Proven ability to prepare and analyze landed costsstructures with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical mindset with focus on data accuracyand structured evaluation.

Role Scope

• Primary focus on execution, analysis, RFQ support, and supplier onboarding.
• Supports pricing and cost analysis, but does not own supplier negotiations or final commercial decisions.
• Works closely with the Procurement Manager to enable data-driven procurement outcomes.
