Job summary

Aimler Solutions Private Limited is seeking a Supply Chain Executive to oversee procurement, planning, and logistics. The role involves coordinating with suppliers, freight and warehousing, and ensuring timely international and domestic shipments from Ahmedabad.

Responsibilities include analyzing procurement, inventory, pricing, and ERP-related reports while maintaining strong communication with cross-functional teams and US partners. A Master’s in SCM and 4+ years in supply chain are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related discipline.
• 4+ years of supply chain experience including logistics.
• Experience with domestic shipments and working with foreign/non-US suppliers is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Fluent in English and able to communicate with US-based teams.

Supply Chain Executive (Ahmedabad)

This position will have responsibilities related to procurement, supply chain and logistics to serving Aimler Solutions and its affiliates as Aimler Solutions clients. The position will be located in India but supply chain, domestic logistic management with transportation companies and warehouses are located in US.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and help manage all aspects of products from making decision of procurement and delivery through shipments to customers.
• Help manage and analyze procurement, planning, scheduling, and inventory, shipping and receiving and delivering products to customers.
• Analyze and recommend pricing of products conducting market research and using various cost factors of products.
• Analyze and coordinate procurement and spend including products, subcontracted services such as freight companies, warehousing etc. to make sure the company is spending dollars in effective and efficient ways.
• Communicates needs and objectives to key internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, sales, service, manufacturing, and management.
• Ability to do follow up and direct foreign suppliers and parties in off hours (generally 30 minutes to one hour per day) in order to meet the important deadlines and ensure smooth and timely operation.
• Assist in all planning and scheduling activities of international and domestic supply chain.
• Work with suppliers and enhance supplier and procurement processes and relationships.
• Help team manage ERP implementation and analyze and develop reports as needed.
• Being flexible to assume administrative (scheduling meetings, coordinating office activities) and any other office responsibilities as needed, and willing to be cross trained for other jobs as required.
• Must have experience as Supply Chain executive.

Requirements

• Master’s degree, Supply Chain Management, or other related discipline.
• 4+ years of supply chain experience, including working on logistics activities and commodity items.
• Prior experience working in logistics/supply chain role in domestics shipment is required.
• Excellent skill sets in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, including Data Filters, Data Sorting, Pivot Tables, SUMIF/SUMIFS, COUNTIF/COUNTIFS, Excel Shortcut Keys, Charts, Cell Formatting, Managing Page Layout, Data Validation.
• Prior experience working with foreign companies is preferred.
• Excellent skill sets in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint Outlook.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team-based environment.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Fluent in English. And prior experience working with US companies is a plus.
• Experienced in supply chain analyst role. Prior experience in the consumer industry is plus.
• Extremely well organized with a strong ability to set & manage priorities & Drive for RESULTS *.
• Effective communicator with all stakeholders (supply chain and Sales team, Operations team, suppliers and customers).
