• Procurement & Sourcing: manage end-to-end procurement for solar projects; obtain quotations, evaluate bids, issue Purchase Orders.

• Cost Optimization: drive cost savings through strategic sourcing and negotiations.
• Project Coordination: coordinate with Engineering, Project, Logistics, and Finance teams to ensure material availability.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Sourcing

• Manage end-to-end procurement for solar projects (SCB, MMS, Cables, VCBs, Cables etc.).
• Identify and develop reliable suppliers and manufacturers.
• Obtain quotations, evaluate bids, and negotiate commercial terms.
• Issue Purchase Orders and monitor order execution.

Vendor Management

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors
• Resolve supply chain issues and ensure timely deliveries.

Cost Optimization

• Drive cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing and negotiations.
• Analyze market trends, commodity pricing, and supplier performance.
• Optimize procurement budgets while maintaining quality standards.

Project Coordination

• Coordinate with Engineering, Project, Logistics, and Finance teams.
• Ensure material availability as per project schedules.
• Track procurement status and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Inventory & Logistics

• Monitor inventory levels and material planning.
• Coordinate dispatch, transportation, and site deliveries.
• Minimize inventory carrying costs and material shortages.
