Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
• 35 years of procurement experience in engineering and manufacturing.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier evaluation.
• Familiarity with engineering materials, equipment, and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and material requisitions.
• Prepare and issue RFQs to approved suppliers.
• Evaluate technical and commercial bids and prepare bid comparison reports.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and contract conditions.
• Select qualified suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Prepare purchase orders and monitor order execution until final delivery.
• Coordinate with engineering, project, quality, and logistics teams to ensure procurement requirements are met.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and contractual requirements.
• Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and documentation.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.
• Track procurement schedules and provide regular status updates to project teams.
