Job summary

Kirloskar Brothers Limited seeks an experienced procurement professional to manage end-to-end sourcing of electrical motors, panels, instruments and monitoring equipment. The role involves RFQ dispatch, technical and commercial evaluation, and finalization of terms with suppliers.

You will support internal customers with forecasts, manage supplier risk, and drive cost reductions through strategic vendor partnerships across India.

Responsibilities

• Procurement of Electrical Motors, panels, instruments and monitoring equipment.
• Sending RFQs, evaluate quotes, negotiate terms and conditions.
• Maintain documentation and approvals.
• Participate in pre-bidding and supplier agreements.
• Estimate costs based on past data, raw material trends and IEEMA PVC formula.
• Prepare comparison sheets and info records of electrical components for approvals.
• Ensure NDA compliance and vendor documentation.
• Develop MIS reports like spend analyses and vendor performance.

Job description

Purpose of the role :

• Procurement of Electrical Motors, panels, instruments and conditioning monitoring.


• Procurement of project related parts & services as per requirement


• Participate in finalization of long term strategy for key supplier base

Support to internal customer needs based on forecast of business & risk review with suppliers

Key Responsibilities :

• Overall responsible for procurement of Electrical Motors panels, instruments and conditioning monitoring equipments.


• Sending RFQ to suppliers, follow-up for technical & commercial quotations, techno- commercial evaluation of quotations, commercial negotiation & finalization of terms & conditions


• Maintaining positive track of document submission and approvals.


• Participate in Pre-Bidding activity & back to back agreements with suppliers in line with customer requirement


• Estimation of cost on the basis of past references, Raw material Trend & IEEMA PVC formula of LT Motor


• Preparation of comparison sheet & Info record of Electrical Motors panels, instruments and conditioning monitoring in agreed timeline & sending it for further process as per approved SOA


• On time compliance of NDA and other statutory requirements of concern vendors


• Developing & maintaining MIS reports like spend analysis report for the categories, pending PR


• Responsible for vendor management & vendor development PAN India.


• To visit & evaluate suppliers for improvements in Quality, Cost, Delivery (QCD)
